This is Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean's private island.
We did some snorkeling . It was beautiful! The water was so clear and the fish swam so close to us, we could reach out and touch them.
On Nassau we ate these delicious yellow-tailed Groupers. They have a distinct flavor, much more so than salmon or cod. Still deep-fried with fries, they are yummy (see picture below).
This is Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas.
We went on a mini-sub. There were windows all around the boat and they drove over the reefs so you could look out at all the sea creatures without having to get wet.
Fort Fincastle was built in 1793 and has some small dungeons and cannons, although the battle never came.
This is Paradise Island which is just over the causeway from Nassau. Neither of us had ever seen such a soft white beach, even Cocoa Beach doesn't compare.
